Why aren't all of the courses the same?

We understand that the freedom that Moodle provides in how courses are set out can be confusing for parents as you try to navigate your way around. Please keep in mind that teachers are using Moodle with their classes in many different ways and this leads to many of the stylistic and layout differences. Whilst we could require all courses to be laid out identically, we believe this would hinder the purpose for which Moodle is designed and used - to provide a digital teaching platform that meets the needs of widely differing subjects and situations.
