When joining, they can use either set nicknames or create an account using their school email address. If you have added a list of students to your class by pasting names from the Compass CSV file, then their nicknames will be their first (preferred) and last name, as per Compass, all in lowercase and without any spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To join using a link, simply copy the link into your lesson plan on Compass. Students then follow the link and sign up using either their nickname or email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To join using a class code, students need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click &#8220;Login&#8221; from the top left of the main page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;Students with a class code&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the class code given to them (you can copy this into your lesson plan or project it on the board)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign up using either their nickname or email address<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To create an account, students select the &#8220;Email or username&#8221; option after entering the class code or following the link, click on the link for &#8220;New to Autodesk? <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Create an account<\/span>&#8220;, and then follow the same basic process as creating a teacher account.
