Adding lower thirds to the ATEM mixer is simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Have your PC\/Laptop plugged into one of the video input channels (usually channel 5).
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the ATEM software, go to the Palettes tab and select Downstream Keys.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In Key 1, set both Fill Source and Key Source to PC (or the channel you are playing the lower thirds into).
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. On the ATEM mixer, select the camera you wish to use.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. On the mixer, turn DSK1 to ON.
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. On the PC, use the arrow keys to move through your lower thirds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    To make the lower thirds solid and not partially transparent:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. In the Palettes menu, turn off Pre Multiplied Key and adjust the Clip and Gain.
