We have several 3D printers available including three Flashforge Guider IIS industrial printers.
The Flashforge printers feature a 120℃ heated build plate to prevent warping, a maximum nozzle temperature of 300℃, and a maximum print speed of 150mm/s. They also include an in-built HD camera for remote monitoring, a HEPA air filter for safer indoor operation, and a filament runout sensor.
Students use these (and our other printers) for prototyping solutions to problems, and creating custom parts, tools and models with high precision and accuracy.
We print mostly with PLA but use some specialty filaments such as nylon for certain printing jobs.
We also have a specialty printer, the Wiiboox Sweetin which is a food grade 3D printer allowing students to print in chocolate, jams, biscuit dough, mashed potato, minced meat, etc.
Other printers include several Ultimaker dual filament printers
